Alessandra Ambrosio was born on April 11, 1981 in Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She is a model by profession. At the age of 15, she had bravely entered the 1996 Look of the Year competition, which was presented by the Elite Modeling Agency. She didn't win the contest, but the year later the agency come back to offer her a professional contract. She had also graced the Magazines covers like Elite, Marie Claire and Harper's Bazaar with her beauty.
